Barcelona Now Join Premier League Giants In Race To Land Colombian Star
La Liga champions FC Barcelona are hoping to steal a march on a trio of Premier League giants in the race to sign highly rated Inter Milan midfield player Fredy Guarin when the winter transfer window opens again for business in the new year, according to reports in the Daily Express.

The new Barca head coach Tata Martino has apparently asked his bosses at Camp Nou to land him the Colombia international for the second half of this campaign as the Argentinian looks to maintain his club’s slim advantage at the top of the standings in Spain.
And this new development will come as a blow to the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, who have all themselves been heavily linked with Guarin in the past.
In fact, the 27-year-old even worked under Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas during his time in charge of the Portuguese outfit, while the player’s agent has also claimed that new Red Devils boss David Moyes is a huge fan of his clients.
Either way, though, it now looks like those three top-flight clubs will have a huge battle on their hands to lure Guarin to England in January now that the Catalans have also entered the race for his signature.
