Andrea Pirlo has been withdrawn by Juventus coach Antonio Conte after just 15 minutes of Serie A clash with Udinese on Sunday evening.

The veteran Italian midfielder suffered the injury as a result of a clash of knees with the Zebrette's Andrea Lazzari in the sixth minute.

Pirlo, 34, who has only missed one Serie A game all season, received treatment for the knock before attempting to carry on but only lasted another nine minutes before signalling to the bench that he wanted to come off.

Pirlo hobbled off and was replaced by young France star Paul Pogba.
