Manuel Pellegrini knew Manchester City's new boys would deliver.
Alvaro Negredo, Jesus Navas, Fernandinho and Martin Demichelis have all played significant roles in City's domestic and European campaigns.
And Pellegrini said: "Negredo, Navas, Demichelis and Fernandinho have all done very well and we're still waiting for Stefan Jovetic, who will also be a very important player.
"It's very difficult that all of the players who come are all successful – that's impossible to do at any team.
"But this year we are very sure about the players we brought here because I knew them all very well."
