Arsenal make loan bid for Chelsea’s Senegalese striker Demba Ba

Arsenal have submitted a loan offer to Chelsea for their 28-year-old striker Demba Ba, claims Sky Sports.
The Chelsea forward is fourth choice at Stamford Bridge behind Fernando Torres, Samuel Eto’o and Romelu Lukaku, and is unlikely get much game time for the Blues.

Arsenal on the other hand only have Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud as genuine established forward options, and the former is out injured for two months.
Ba will add some much needed depth in the forward positions at the Emirates, and could join brilliant German playmaker Mesut Ozil as a deadline day acquisition.
