Manchester United hotshot Robin Van Persie has revealed he would like to extended his stay at Old Trafford beyond his current contract.

Speaking to MUTV, Dutch international striker Robin Van Persie stated his desire to remain with Manchester United past his current contract.

Van Persie’s current deal has three years left to run on it, and the 30-year-old has made his intentions clear of wanting a longer stay.

“I have three more years to go and I would like to stay longer. I see people around me, making decisions where I think these guys will look back and say ‘was that a good one?’. I don’t want that.
“I want to play as long as possible at the highest level.”

Last season’s top goalscorer, he has already found the net three times in four games this campaign.
