Playmaker looking forward to tough two weeks with Chelsea.
Chelsea star Juan Mata says he is ‘feeling good’ after suffering muscle problems during pre-season.
The Spanish midfielder, 25, has endured a frustrating start to the campaign, sitting out the Blues’ opening day victory over Hull City and the draw with Manchester United a fortnight ago.

Mata started both the 2-1 win over Aston Villa last month and Sunday’s 1-0 loss at Goodison Park but in both matches he was withdrawn around the hour mark.
Reports in the media have claimed that head-coach
Jose Mourinho is not a fan of the Spain international but Mata has stressed that injury problems suffered in pre-season, following his participation in the
Confederations Cup, are to blame for his slow start.
The former Valencia playmaker insists he is over his injury problems and ready for a tough two weeks in which Chelsea play no less than five matches.

“From a personal point of view, I can confirm that I’m feeling good after the muscular problems I’ve been suffering since pre-season…,” Mata wrote on his personal blog.
“The next few weeks ahead are very intense: 5 games in just 14 days. In order to get ready for them is very important to get confidence and to be positive.”

Mata said the packed schedule would help the team bounce back from the surprise defeat on Merseyside.
“We’re starting of one of those weeks we’ve been so used to in the last season, with two consecutive games in just a few days,” he added.

“And, to be honest, I believe this is the best way to move on after being defeated at Goodison Park, our first defeat in the Premier League.

“It’s always tough to play in that stadium; last season we were the only team that won there, but we couldn’t do the same this time. I think we had enough chances to score in the first half, yet we didn’t, and in the last minute before the break we were punished by Naismith’s goal.

“At the end we couldn’t tie the score and we lost. We have to learn from this defeat
