Taribo, Ikpeba named Corporate Football ambassadors
Former
Super Eagles players Taribo West and Victor Ikpeba top the list of
ex-internationals named as ambassadors for the forthcoming Nigeria
Corporate Champions tagged Corporate Football scheduled for Campos
Stadium between November 22 and 24.
Other former national team players named
as ambassadors are Karibe Ojigwe, Patrick Ovie, Baldwin Bazuaye, Edema
Fuludu and ex-Super Falcons goalkeeper, Ann Chiejiine.
According to the Managing Director,
Corporate Soccer Limited, organisers of the competition, Onome Obruthe,
the ex-internationals will act as celebrity coaches for the
participating corporate organisations adding that comedians Ali Baba,
Tee A ,MC Abbey among others will be the welfare officers for the teams.
He also informed that the draws for the
competition and selection of celebrity coaches would hold on November 22
at the Campos Mini Stadium.
Obruthe said the competition had the
blessing of the Lagos State Commissioner for Sports, Enitan Oshodi, who
has promised to be present during the competition.
