FA fines Cardiff and Norwich after Leroy Fer goal controversy
CARDIFF and Norwich have been charged by the FA for failing to control their players.
The rap
comes after several stars of both sides clashed after referee Mike
Jones disallowed Leroy Fer’s controversial 94th-minute goal in the
goalless draw at Carrow Road last weekend.
Fer showed poor sportsmanship when the Dutchman kicked the ball into the Cardiff
goal, despite the Bluebirds kicking the ball out of play for an injury
to Norwich’s Alex Tettey and his action sparked a fracas. Both clubs
have until 6pm on Monday to respond.
