Jose Mourinho fears for Chelsea's wobbly backline
JOSE MOURINHO fears even a dummy could score against Chelsea right now.
He claims Chelsea's run of bad luck at the back has been so dire he even feared to train with the dummies yesterday - just in case one of put the ball in the net!
Mourinho said: "Maybe you laugh, but if we trained defensive corners against the dummies at the moment, maybe one dummy would score!“If we trained defensive corners against the dummies at the moment, maybe one dummy would score!”Jose Mourinho
"All the rebounds are going to the opponents, so I think the rebounds will go to the dummies, too. The ball was going here or there. So I didn't want to train against the dummies!"
Chelsea have conceded six goals in their last two games, against Stoke and Sunderland.
But Mourinho insists it's just a result of their new attacking style.
"The easiest thing in football is to play defensively. The dynamic I'm giving to the team is the most difficult thing.
"But we have to kill opponents. We have to score goals. You can say we scored two away (at Stoke) and lost. I know - because at the same time we are also conceding goals defensively.
"We are creating a lot. We have to kill off opponents. If we don't do that, we have to be very safe in the back. But am I going to change the style and play more defensive style? No."
