Liverpool news: Real ready new Suarez bid

Real Madrid
president Florentino Perez is keen to make wantaway Liverpool striker
Luis Suarez his "galactico" centre-forward to complete manager Carlo
Ancelotti's new-look team.
The Spanish giants were linked with Uruguayan during the
summer as Los Merengues, Arsenal and Bayern Munich all led the chase for
the player.
However, sources in Spain said Perez, who is also tracking
Monaco's ex-Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao, is keen to "take
advantage" of a marquee player not playing European football. Both
Suarez and Falcao "fit that bill".
It is understood Real even agreed a deal with Liverpool in
the summer but such were the internal politics and in-fighting at
Anfield between Suarez and his bosses, the player dropped off the radar
as Real switched their attention to signing £86 million forward Gareth
Bale from Tottenham Hotspur.
However, Real are looking at coming back with a £45m+ bid for Suarez in January.
A source said: "It's only a matter of time [when Suarez
leaves Liverpool] and Real are the ones most likely to pay anywhere near
the £50m asking price."
Suarez is still serving a 10-match ban for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic at the end of last season.
