Suarez beats FIFA rule to play against Fulham this weekend

Luis Suarez could have been prevented from playing against Fulham this weekend due to a FIFA rule.
With Uruguay set to take on Jordan next Wednesday in a World Cup play-off, FIFA rules state that players have to be released from club duty five days beforehand to link up with their national side.

Needless to say the revelation sparked some angry responses from Liverpool fans last night, when news started breaking that Suarez may have therefore been unable to lead the Reds’ attack against Fulham this Saturday.

However, worry not Liverpool fans because it appears a compromise has been reached with Suarez able to play against Fulham on Saturday afternoon before jetting off to link up with his Uruguay teammates.
