Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi was voted as the Most Valuable Player in
the Nigeria versus Ethiopia World Cup qualifying playoff on Saturday in
Calabar.
The Lazio player, who received $5,000
from TomTom for the award, said it was a special thing to happen to him,
especially during a crucial match.
He said, “I feel great; its a wonderful feeling. I thank God, and I was really not expecting it.”
It was his first time of winning such an individual award.
