With Manchester City progressing to the last-16 of the Champions League on Tuesday night, Chelsea can take a step closer when they play Schalke 04.

The occasion will be particularly special for one Blues star, Andre Schurrle, as the German also celebrates the attacker’s 23rd birthday.

After a disappointing 2-0 loss to Newcastle United in the Premier League at the weekend, Jose Mourinho is set to ring through the changes and Schurrle could well start as a result.
